LONG DISTANCE FRIENDSHIPS ARE… COMPLICATED

This..this is Joi. She’s my best friend. She’s been my best friend since middle school. The day she left New York, I vowed that things wouldn’t change between us. Deep down I knew it was a lie but I was hoping I was wrong. At first you start off by talking on the phone every second of the day because now you no longer can be physically present with your BFF. The distance makes you miss them…and then you kinda start to get used to it. Less and less phone calls ..until you months on end of no speaking and it’s the new normal for you guys.
